I am an architect & urban designer with experience working on the design of innovative architecture and low/zero carbon master planning and sustainability strategies based on renewable energy system.
I have worked on a wide range of high profile projects working with some of the worlds leading internationally renowned practitioners including Sir Terry Farrell & Partners, John McAslan & Partners, HOK International (working with Sir Peter Cook) and AECOM.
Work experience has enabled me to reflect on and learn from pier experience, thus enabling me to integrate new knowledge with past experience and apply it to new situations. I am able to challenge pre-conceptions and to remove boundaries so to handle complex situations holistically. I am able to analysis, synthesis and solve complex problems, and the ability to communicate my ideas and implement agreed solutions effectively. I have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with a range of different clients, government departments / agencies, consultants, developers, local businesses and the wider community.
I believe architecture and urban design should not be viewed as disconnected abilities, but united to generate a distinctive functioning environment where city, buildings and landscape converse with each other.
