With specialisms in urban regeneration, town centre strategies and also landscape-led residential masterplanning, Kevin understands both the relationship between built form and public realm as well as wider conceptual strategies for large-scale development. Kevin is well versed in different public consultation techniques and liaison with public sector bodies.
Kevin is particularly interested in the local scale social regeneration of urban sites and in the advancement of our cities to cater for climate change, particularly reinstating biodiversity whilst improving economic value.
He has worked with Jestico and Whiles, BDP, AECOM, Rummey Design and PRP prior to joining Mace in 2018. Kevin has taught architecture and urban design at Melbourne’s RMIT, has been guest lecturer at various UK universities, is currently a member of Design:South East Design Review Panel and through this is a member of the Brentwood Review Panel.
