Dar Group

What do the HS2 rail project, Shanghai Natural History Museum and the stadia for the 2022 World Cup have in common? The answer is that they’re all projects in which the Dar Group has been involved.

Founded more than 60 years ago, the Dar Group provides large- scale, world-class innovative solutions to the most complex design and engineering projects across the globe, by more than 18,000 staff across 200 offices.

Over the past 5 years, the Dar Group has invested significantly in the UK and we now have more than 1,500 staff operating from 24 offices in the UK.

As part of the next phase of our UK investment plan, we are building a new headquarters in Holborn, London to enable our specialist professional services firms to workand collaborate in an office environment of the future.

We provide services in urban design, planning, design, engineering and project management. In tandem with the design and engineering of very large projects. The firm has prioritised climate change, sustainable design and green engineering which are so central to our Group’s philosophy, that we are recognised as leaders in the field of sustainable engineering.

Our services support landowners, investors, developers and policymakers in transforming financial, socio-economic and regeneration objectives into real-world projects, strategies and solutions. Advice is fact-based, objective and action oriented in order to deliver added value at each stage of the development process.

We work with our clients from the conception of a development idea through to acquiring stakeholder approvals, securing investment and delivery. We are able to draw on a wide resource base that hinges on market and technical knowledge, property finance expertise, policy insight, design creativity, and a rigorous understanding of the planning and development process in each of the countries and cultures within which we operate.

We approach strategic planning as a fully integrated framework that links together social, economic and spatial development. Our strategic planning projects have covered all scales including national development plans, regional and metropolitan development plans, city and structure plans. We guide central and local governments on their long term physical, social and socio-economic growth, planning, restructuring, and investment strategies.
